The Reno City Council approved a 90 day continuance on the Main Station Farm rezoning proposal. We now know there is tremendous support from the community to utilize this farm as it is intended and historically has been.
We need to capitalize on the enthusiasm and work with UNR and the Reno City Council to find a better solution. We must now get to the hard work that will start in the next 90 days and continue into the future. We must fine areas of common interest between the University, our local food community, and city government to build a future for sustainable agriculture in our region.
